  1. I have been reading Margaret Mead’s autobiography, after a summer and autumn spent recovering from an accident. I’m heating up the kettle, making some tea, and feeling inspired again after attending tonight’s event.

Mead writes “if you set a course and bend your sails to every wind to further the journey, always trusting the course is right, it will, in fact, be right even though the ship itself may go down at any time during the voyage”.

This aligns well with the discussion on Flash and changes in technology, and the emphasis on adaptation. Design, technology, and life all have important corollaries.

Because of the space in which I am in, this meeting had important significance to me; keep up the good work organizing events….I look forward to future ones.

Thanks, Michael! It was great seeing you this evening! Look forward to seeing you around again!
    All my best,
